In New Zealand and Australia, people used to deliver blocks of ice weekly in the time before fridges or freezers. How did they supply this ice?

Can someone tell me what is the equipment(freezers) used in Ice Cream parlors called? Which company's product is the best in this segment?

in the last few years i've heard stories from Germany about police finding babies/toddlers in freezers. It is shocking, and horrible. I am just wondering why it is just in Germany or is it elsewhere but it doesn't get reported? It's just very strange.

I can't see any condenser coils on new freezers. Are they somehow enclosed in the newer appliances? I know dealers/manufacturers don't want you to be able to clean coils, so they generally make them inaccessable (so you burn out the motors and have to pay them an extortion fee to replace them or other parts). But maybe they don't use cooling coils at all, anymore?
